リリースに以下のようにありました。

Secondly, if you feel that PI8 is slow UI wise I'd like you to go into General Settings and change items from Glass to Solid Button or Gradient. Everything from Glass to something else like that. Is PI8 now faster for you?

そこで、これを試してみました。


General Setting の中の System Styles を



のように、Solid に変えてみます。
確かに表示はpoorな感じですが、きびきび動作する感じです。
